Climate: Typically tropical, with constant tall percentage of damp (90-95%). With 25mm a day in average of atmospheric precipitations, during the season of the rains (from May to October), Monrovia, on the coast it is one of the damp capitals in Africa. The temperature never overcomes the 33 degrees in Monrovia. In the hinterland it is slightly more elevated.

Flag: Flag of general employment adopted by the new republican constitution July 16 th 1847, few days before the declaration of the independence (26 July) and officially lifted on following August 27. The proportions 10/19, fixed only in 1961, they are the same of the American flag. The strips were brought by 13 to 11 to remember the eleven representatives of the three counties (Montserrado, Low Gran and Sinoe) that they signed the declaration of independence. The blue one of the canton is for Africa, the “dark” continent, the five points of the star represent Liberia as the first independent Republic of the African continent.

Appointed international: 00 231 prefix for the country.

Fused schedule: same schedule of the Meridian in Greenwich; 1 now back in Italy (2 hours back with the legal schedule).

Documents: For the entry in Liberia the passport is necessary in course of validity and the seen of entry, obligatory for any stay and for any type of passport.

Embassies and Consulates: an Embassy doesn't exist on the spot, the competent embassy for Liberia is situated in Cote d’Ivore.
